How do I remove stains from my Gore-Tex jacket?Updated 2 months ago

We suggest spot treating the stain with non-bio liquid detergent, then washing it as per the care label instructions. If the stain doesn’t come out at this point, try treating it with some bicarbonate of soda and wash again. Remember to close all zips and velcro closures, and double rinse. To reapply the DWR layer, once out of the washing machine and still damp, apply a home treatment DWR spray such as TX direct or similar spray to the outside of the jacket, focusing particularly on the higher wear areas such as the back neck, shoulders and cuffs. Once this step is complete, line dry the jacket, and once it’s dry put in the tumble drier on low heat for 20 mins. Unfortunately, some stubborn stains may never come out.
